OFF-LOOM WEAVING WORKSHOP WITH MERINO WOOL ROVING

In this 3-hour session, discover the art of creating large-scale weavings using thick, luxurious merino wool roving. Learn essential techniques for handling roving and basic weaving skills, enabling you to craft your unique artwork measuring approximately 3 feet wide by 4 feet high.  All necessary materials are provided, including a 3-foot wood dowel for hanging, ample merino roving (up to 5lbs), and a comprehensive instructional booklet. No prior experience is needed—just bring your enthusiasm and creativity.

We take pride in using MULESING FREE merino wool roving, and our dyeing process complies with Oeko-Tex Standard 100, ensuring both ethical practices and high-quality materials for your weaving journey.

CIRCULAR LOOM WEAVING WORKSHOP WITH MERINO WOOL ROVING
In this hands-on session, you'll discover the art of wrapping and vertically warping a brass hoop to create a circular loom. Learn various techniques for adding texture using luxurious merino wool roving.  All necessary materials are provided, including a 10” brass hoop, cotton rope, cotton warp thread, tapestry needle, and your choice of 4 colors of wool roving. The workshop also includes a detailed instructional booklet. No prior experience is necessary, although patience is recommended for a satisfying experience. ツ

LOOM WEAVING
This hands-on session guides you through the basics of weaving on a 10x15” frame lap loom. Learn essential skills such as warping, weaving stitches like plain weave, soumak, and rya knots, adding fringe, finishing your piece, and tidying loose ends.  All materials, including a variety of yarn, are provided. By the end, you'll take home your unique wall hanging, AND the loom and tools are yours to keep for future weaving projects. No prior experience needed—just bring your creativity and enthusiasm for a crafty adventure!
